Fragrance: How To Choose The Right Perfume For You

Hey everyone! 

This post is about fragrance, but you've probably guessed that already. I LOVE different smells like berry vanilla, apple mango, coco ginger and other yummy ones. Ok, I totally made up apple mango and coco ginger, those don't exist..yet. As soon as I'm done with the post I guess I'll go make some coco ginger fragrance, no one take my idea! JK take it, please.. hah.. No seriously don't! JK..In any case, it's story time. So one day I was walking in the mall and came across this Coach poppy scent which, let me tell you, is amazing! It's sweet but also very edgy at the same time. It is hard to describe smells, especially the ones that don't exist in nature like grow on trees for example. Sometimes I even think of the scents as geometric shapes and before you say it's weird (which it really is) try it for yourself, it works!

I love this look, it reminds me of Pocahontas (a fashionable, business lady Pocahontas, if that made any sense). RL is amazing and so very talented! I want those pants, and maybe that skirt and that shirt ohh and that dress and that other dress, ohh and that belt, those shoes, and that bag...

I have done that and I hope you have too because it's actually a lot of fun. What you pick usually reflect your personality, who you are or who you want to be, what you do, what you like, what makes you happy and a lot of other things.

Lip Color

So this is self explanatory; orange lip color is a little funky but hey, I say that funky is better than bbboring!

I'm in between beige and tan so I use a mix of the two shades of lip color. My personal favorite is Maybelline D160 (Cool Watermelon). I honestly don't understand the reason it's called cool watermelon because it looks nothing like a cool watermelon, not that I'm looking at cool watermelons all day long... and I should probably stop saying cool watermelon right about now. Ha ha. OK so the trick with bright lipsticks is to not over do the rest of your makeup. Try using a shade of brown or gray for eyeliner and mascara instead of black. And do not over do with the blush because that's a no no for bright lipsticks. However, bronzer is a different story, use that!

Little Striped Shirt

This Little Striped shirt was about 2 dollars..YAY..and it's good quality too.. YAY!

I'm also wearing my glasses necklace which is probably hard to see but it's there. 

Now, about the shirt! I'm sure you've heard that vertical stripes elongate and horizontal stripes add width, but that's not necessarily true when it comes to clothes. Recently psychologist Peter Thompson did a research where he asked people to look at 200 pairs of pictures of women wearing horizontally and vertically striped dresses, and then he asked them which one of the two looked slimmer. The result showed that when two women of the same size were wearing vertical and horizontal stripes, the one wearing horizontally striped dress looked thinner than the one wearing vertically striped dress...haha exiting!
